Adam Starker OBITUARY

Adam passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on Sunday, June 22, 2025, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Adam was born at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver on Easter Sunday, March 31, 1991, to William J. (Bud) and Mary S. Starker. He was raised in Wheat Ridge, attended Lakewood High School, and received a BA degree in anthropology from the University of Colorado.

Adam’s professional career was centered around affordable housing and driven by a desire to help others. This mission led him to work at the Harm Reduction Action Center, the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, Warren Village, and he was an early IT developer on the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) at the Metro Denver Homeless Initiative.

He possessed an inquisitive mind, was an avid reader and an engaging conversationalist. He is survived by his parents and his brother, John A. Starker. He was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held at Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church, 1980 Dahlia St., Denver, CO 80220 on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 11:00AM, reception to follow.
