Katherine Haskins OBITUARY

Katherine (Kat) Haskins, 94, died on May 21, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held on August 9, 2025, at 1:00 pm at First Plymouth Church, 3501 S. Colorado Blvd., Englewood, CO, 80113. Reception to follow.

Born in Lansing, Michigan, Kat attended Cornell University. She married Stuart Haskins in August 1952, and moved to New Haven, Connecticut. In 1967, the family moved to Colorado where, after raising four children, Kat earned a teaching certificate. She taught in the public schools and then for many years at the Denver Inner City Parish. Stuart died on March 19, 2025, after 72 years of marriage.

Kat is survived by four children and two daughters-in-law: Jane Wolfe Zamudio, George Haskins and Jean Carroccio, Stephen Haskins and Meg Mullen, and John Haskins; and by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
