Drema Woolard Doolittle, 82, passed away peacefully in Centennial, Colorado on July 4, 2025. She was born in September 1942 in High Point, North Carolina.

He academic journey began at High Point University, where she met and later married Jimmy Doolittle. Decades later she earned her degree at Sarah Lawrence College while studying Africana Studies & Creative Writing, reflecting her deep intellectual curiosity and lifelong love of learning.

Drema had a passion for words, creative writing and expression, shown in her love of Scrabble and her graceful calligraphy, but nothing matched her love for her grandchildren, James, Ashley, Jack and Caroline. Her quiet wit, thoughtful conversations, and generous heart touched the lives of those around her.

She was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church in Denver, where a memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.

Drema is survived by her children, Jim Doolittle and Mary Doolittle, and her brother, Ed Woolard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy.
