Eastbound Interstate 70 was closed Monday morning near Rifle for a vehicle fire, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The eastbound highway closed between exit 87 for Rifle and exit 90 for Colorado 13 at about 11:30 a.m. and reopened just before noon, according to state transportation officials.
